NORTHWESTERN MUTUAL IS MOVING TO GRANDVIEW YARD

Insurer Taking Nearly 19,000 Square Feet in New 800 Yard Street Building

Columbus-based Nationwide Realty Investors (NRI) announced today that Northwestern Mutual has leased 19,000 square feet of space at Grandview Yard.

Northwestern Mutual’s new office will be located on the third floor of the 75,000 square foot 800 Yard Street building, which is currently under construction. The company will join Ernst & Young who recently announced that it has leased 15,000 square feet on the second floor of the building.

“We are thrilled to have Northwestern Mutual moving into Grandview Yard,” said Ellis. “We will complete the building late this year and both Northwestern Mutual and Ernst & Young are expected to begin moving associates into their spaces in early 2015.”

The class-A building will be supported by a new two-story, 505 space parking deck. Also under development is an 18,000 square foot Hofbrauhaus restaurant and German bier hall opening in October 2014.

A GetGo Station, Wright Patt Credit Union, and Ohio Health Urgent Care opened at Grandview Yard earlier this month. The Giant Eagle Market District grocery store is slated to open in September, and Panera Bread will open this fall.
