Columbus Ale Trail

Calling all beer lovers—volume 6 of the Columbus Ale Trail is out now! Explore the Columbus craft beer scene and collect all your stamps before April 30 to earn a Columbus Ale Trail embroidered patch and matching sticker. Visit Grandview Yard Ale Trail participant, Hofbräuhaus, for National Beer Day on April 16 and enjoy live entertainment from Matt Rees.

Cheer on the Columbus Blue Jackets this month as they wrap up the 2021-22 season! Stop by your favorite Arena District restaurant or bar to fuel up before heading to Nationwide Arena for an upcoming home game:

April 7 is Military Appreciation Night: The evening will feature a host of themed activities, fundraisers, tributes to show support and gratitude for all active and retired service personnel.

Glory to Columbus

The Columbus Crew is starting the month off by welcoming midfielder Frederico Higuain “Pipa” back for a ceremonial one-day contract as he officially retires as a member of the Black & Gold. The evening will feature a special pregame ceremony before the Crew’s kickoff against Nashville SC on April 2 at 6 PM.

Columbus Clippers 

The Columbus Clippers’ 2022 season begins this month! The Clippers will be hosting Syracuse at Huntington Park for their first homestand from April 12-17. Come celebrate in the Arena District and cheer on the Clippers at one of their 11 home games this month!  

  • April 12 – April 17 | Columbus Clippers vs. Syracuse Mets
  • April 26 – May 1 | Columbus Clippers vs. Louisville Bats

USWNT is Coming to Columbus

Support the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team as they take on Uzbekistan at Lower.com Field on April 9! The international friendly will begin at 5:30 PM and is the team’s first visit to Lower.com Field. Get your tickets here before it’s too late!

College Basketball All-Star Game 

The College Basketball All-Star Game & Celebrity Extravaganza is coming to Columbus, April 21-24! The 5-day celebration of educational, multicultural and entertainment festivities showcases top seniors from HBCUs around the country and dynamic players from Ohio’s colleges and universities. Capital City Half Marathon

The 2022 OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon will be held in downtown Columbus on April 30. This annual event, an all-time favorite of local runners and walkers, showcases the City of Columbus and its diverse neighborhoods and entertainment districts to runners and walkers from all over the region. This year’s Black & Gold 5K will be held on June 26 at 8 am, taking participants through the Arena District and concluding at Lower.com Field.
