Columbus Clippers in August

⚾️ There’s no better way to enjoy a summer evening in Columbus than with some baseball! The Clippers have two homestands in August, with family fun events before and after the games.

August 1 – 6 | Columbus Clippers vs St. Paul Saints
- August 1: Dime-a-Dog Night
- August 5: Marvel Night + post-game fireworks
August 22 – 27 | Columbus Clippers vs Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp
- August 22: Dime-a-Dog Night

🦸 August 5 is Marvel Night at Huntington Park! The Clippers will be sporting special themed jerseys, and you may even notice the Black Panther roaming around the stadium. Stay after the game to enjoy a specially themed firework show. This is a night your family will not want to miss!

OhioHealth Grandview Yard Half Marathon

🏃🏼 August 6 is race day in Grandview Heights and Upper Arlington! The OhioHealth Grandview Yard Quarter Marathon & 5K returns in 2023 but will include a Half Marathon for the first time! The race event will start and finish at Ray DeGraw Park, complete with a post-race participant party. Registration and event information can be found here.

Grandview Hop in Grandview Heights

🛍 Visit Grandview Heights on August 26 and explore more than 120 pop-up shops and food trucks, along with live music, activities for kids, giveaways, and more from 5-9pm, there’s something for the entire family to enjoy!

⚾️ Take me out to the ball game! The Columbus Clippers are hosting two homestands in June. Celebrate the start of summer and cheer on the Clippers at one of their 9 home games at Huntington Park this month!

Secure your tickets to the Re:SET Concert Series at KEMBA Live! from June 23 – 25. The three-day outdoor music festival features four unique artists on the main stage each day. Columbus is one of 12 U.S. cities hosting the Re:SET concert series.

Happy Pride Month

🌈 Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival has worked to uplift LGBTQ+ identities in the Columbus community over the past 42 years. The 2023 Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival will be held on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17 at Goodale Park; featuring over 200 nonprofit and corporate vendors, 2 performance stages, a wellness area, and a plethora of community resources. Beer Run and Luau Party

🤙🏾 Time to put on your hula skirts and lace up your running shoes! Hofbräuhaus Columbus is hosting its Columbus Beer Run and Luau Party on July 15 in Grandview Yard. With craft beer sampling stations along the 1.5-mile course, it’s a fun run/walk through Grandview Yard and the party continues once you cross the finish line.

*All participants must be 21 years of age or older as of July 15, 2023.

Start Your Morning Off Right with Winans

Red, White & BOOM!

🎇 Gear up for the return of Columbus’ annual fireworks show, Red, White & BOOM! Happening on Monday, July 3, the Independence Day celebration will take place along the downtown riverfront. BOOM! is a FREE event which features a parade, street festival and two stages of live musical entertainment.

🌃Grandview Heights summertime night market is back July 29. This community night market is free to attend and open to all ages to explore more than 50 local brick-and-mortar businesses, restaurants and boutiques as well as entertainment and late night specials.
