We are proud to announce today that Eddie George’s Grille 27 will relocate from its current location on High Street to Grandview Yard in spring 2016. The restaurant will occupy the current 8,000 square foot location where the Buckeye Hall of Fame Grill is currently located. The Buckeye Hall of Fame Grill will close January 16 at 10 pm in order to begin the renovation process to make way for Eddie George’s Grille 27.
The Buckeye Hall of Fame Grill opened in 2010 with the first phase of development at Grandview Yard. The restaurant’s five-year license agreement with The Ohio State University expired last fall. We encourage you to visit The Buckeye before Saturday for a final glimpse at the unique Ohio State sports memorabilia and rare photographs they have collected. But never fear, when Eddie George’s Grille 27 opens in May, the celebration of OSU athletics at Grandview Yard will continue!
Eddie George’s Grille 27 is named for Heisman Trophy winner and OSU graduate Eddie George. His namesake restaurant offers a scratch kitchen featuring a twist on classic American fare including fresh burgers, steaks, seafood and unique salads and appetizers. The restaurant will also feature a full service bar with 27 craft beers on tap and hand-crafted cocktails. The new location will boast more than 70 HDTVs in an upscale setting. “We are excited to be moving to Grandview Yard,” said Marc Buehler, President of g3 Restaurants. “We have had 10 great years on High Street and look forward to bringing our award-winning menu, progressive beverage selection, and champion-level service that will continue to impress our existing fans, and will surely draw new fans from Grandview Yard and the surrounding community.”
